Welcome to Saltburn HOWZAT Music Festival

The Howzat Music Festival is brought to you by the combined efforts of Saltburn Blues Club, The Rotary Club of Saltburn and the Saltburn Cricket, Tennis and Bowls Club. Seven outstanding Bands and one soloist will perform sets covering Rhythm and Blues, Soul and Americana. The Indoor Nets Hall at the Cricket Club converts to a superb festival venue, as experienced at last year’s event. An ample and comfortable space to sit, stand, enjoy the acts and dance. Hot and cold food and drinks will be available throughout.

Playing their music with passion and flair, Great Big Feet showcase the jump-boogie and rhythm and blues styles of yesteryear with an electric stage-show. A unique set-up, led on all fronts by singer-drumming, classic rock n’ roll guitar showmanship, thumping boogie-woogie piano and tireless bass playing, the band effortlessly lift an audience. Saltburn Rotary Club

The Rotary Club is an important part of the town. Founded in 1926, the Club is an established fixture of the community and is involved in many projects throughout the town. Rotary club members not only embark on local fund raising enterprises but also give their time and efforts to national and international projects as the need arises. There's also an active social section and opportunities for members to meet new people.

Saltburn Blues Club brings the best of local and national rhythm and blues to Saltburn and is a not for profit community organization run by Saltburn promoter Harry Simpson.

Harry formed the club in Sept 2011 having identified the need for a Saltburn venue for the blues to add to its existing vibrant music scene.

Saltburn Cricket Club

The large indoor nets hall at Saltburn Cricket Club is the venue for Saltburn's Howzat Music Festival.

Saltburn Cricket Club was formed in 1875 and has three senior teams playing in the North Yorkshire South Durham League. It also boasts strong junior teams.
